Tinashe Flashes Her Bra and Undies in a See-Through Blue Lace Set at The Abbey
Tinashe went full ’90s pop star in a sheer indigo Erik Charlotte lace set with her bra and underwear on show at MISTR’s National PrEP Day party in West Hollywood.
Tinashe clearly got the memo that the dress code at The Abbey was “see-through”. The singer turned up to MISTR’s 2nd Annual National PrEP Day celebration in West Hollywood on Saturday, October 10, in an indigo-blue lace set that CelebMafia said was “built around transparency, asymmetric layering and visible lingerie.”
The coordinated sheer blouse and skirt came from Erik Charlotte’s spring 2027 collection, WWD reported, calling it “sheer styling with a playful ’90s pop star vibe.” Up top, long lace sleeves flared into scalloped cuffs, while overlapping panels crossed her torso and left a big opening through the centre of her waist — and a dark bra was visible beneath the lace, per CelebMafia.
The skirt did the same trick. CelebMafia said the gathered fabric sat diagonally across her hips before falling to an uneven knee-length hem, “with darker underwear visible beneath the lace.” She added several silver necklaces, earrings and a fine body chain at the waist, plus strappy silver stiletto sandals, and wore her dark hair pinned into playful sections with short bangs.
The verdict from the style desk? CelebMafia said the vivid lace and metallic accents had enough presence for the party “without crossing into costume”, and rated it 8.5/10 “for its sophisticated use of transparency”, though it admitted the neckline got “slightly crowded” where lace, bra straps and layered necklaces competed for attention. WWD also pointed out she was following the recent trend of celebrities skipping autumn staples in favour of the spring 2027 runways.
Tinashe was in cheeky company. WWD reported Kesha and Demi Lovato “embraced the boudoir and a touch of the wild” — Kesha in a leopard-print semi-sheer maxi — while Charli XCX brought “goth glam” in custom Julia O’Callaghan short-shorts and a semi-sheer tiered ruffle cape, and Christina Aguilera also hit the blue carpet. The night had a serious purpose too: MISTR hosted it to promote HIV prevention, reduce stigma and expand online access to PrEP, which helps HIV-negative people avoid contracting the virus, WWD said.
