Ava Starz Turns Her Back on the Camera in a Tiny Polka-Dot Bikini: “You Know Exactly Who It Is”

No face, no problem. Gold Coast local Ava Starz didn’t even need to turn around for her followers to know who they were looking at.

“You know exactly who it is,” the real-world influencer wrote on X on Wednesday morning, alongside a photo of herself waist-deep in turquoise surf, back to the camera, both hands resting on her head.

Dots, string and not much else

The bikini? A tiny black polka-dot string set, tied at the back and the hips, with her wet blonde hair falling down her spine. Blue sky, white water, that unmistakable tan. Cheeky in every sense.

The post had pulled in more than 20,500 views, 2,562 likes, 109 replies and 92 reposts when we checked, plus 146 bookmarks. Clearly a lot of people are saving it for, ahem, travel inspiration.

From gym gains to beach days

It follows straight on from her viral “gym gains are starting to show” selfie, and her red-bikini sand splits earlier in the week. Those gains aren’t an accident: Ava trains at Snap Fitness Surfers Paradise, even if she openly love-hates the gym, and she spent her childhood at Gold Coast Gymnastics until 17.

The ocean is home turf too. The Surfers Paradise local has surfed the Gold Coast her whole life and has local surf comp wins to her name, though she never went pro. Between waves she works in the casual nursing pool at Gold Coast University Hospital, is studying to become a cosmetic surgery nurse, and picks up modelling and promo work around the coast.

“It’s just 3 letters”

Not everyone has caught on, apparently. A couple of hours later Ava vented: “how do people manage to get my name wrong???? its just 3 letters are 2 are the same!?” Fair point, babe. A-V-A.

Her best friend Emma Heart, whose family took Ava in during their school years, was busy on X the same morning too, posting from behind the wheel in a white tracksuit and a “GC House” cap with the caption “i need you to keep your eyes on the road.” Good luck with that.

With Model Search 2026 on the horizon, Ava is building a portfolio that does the talking for her. She doesn’t even have to show her face.

Scoop’s verdict? Back to the camera, polka dots on, name spelt correctly. We know exactly who it is, Ava.
