Shakira’s Plunging Backless Tom Ford Gown Dips Low Both Ways at PFW

Shakira paused her Madrid residency to hit Tom Ford’s Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris — black plunging V-neck, waist-deep backless cut, crystal straps, and Akillis python bling doing overtime.

Shakira flew in from her Madrid residency and treated Place Vendôme like a second stage. On September 30 she arrived at Haider Ackermann’s Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2027 show in a black floor-length gown with a dangerously low V-neckline, ultra-thin crystal straps, and a backless cut that dipped past her waist.

theFashionSpot, W Magazine, and Vogue France all clocked the silhouette: figure-hugging through the hips, sparkling trim along the open sides, caramel wet-look waves, soft glossy glam. She paired Akillis Python earrings and a coordinating ring — snake-shaped sparkle echoing the crystal edges — and left her neckline bare so the plunge could lead. Outside the venue she spun for photographers, laughed, waved, and made the backless thesis impossible to miss before sliding into the car. Jane Silverman notes she sat near Tate McRae and crossed paths with Cynthia Erivo — all-black front row, Shakira still the timeline.

Soft Scoop note: tips may float on tip sites; Scoop sticks to carpet and street stills from fashion press, not tip-gallery grabs. Between the double dip — front and back — Tom Ford just got a residency intermission it will not forget.

Scoop’s verdict? Plunge: locked. Backless: noted. Shakira just made Tom Ford look like a Paris press release.
