Jennie’s Tiny Olive String Bikini for Vaseline Has Fans Ignoring the Creams

Moisturiser has never looked this distracting. Jennie Kim of BLACKPINK has dropped a sun-drenched Instagram shoot in a teeny moss-green string bikini, and fans are having a very hard time concentrating on the product placement.

The 30-year-old shared a series of photos from a brand shoot with Vaseline, captioning the post “the only two ways i know how to heal”, HELLO! reports.

Barefoot in a secret garden

The shoot was set in a wild garden with a stone wall, big rocks and dense trees. In one shot she lies on a wooden deck, one knee up, hand shielding her eyes from the sun, with a tub and tube of Vaseline placed right by her head, according to Maeil Business. In others she climbs barefoot onto a large rock, stretches out on a blue striped towel, and pairs the bikini top with loose brown wide-leg pants under a big old tree.

The olive halter bikini ties at the neck with skinny string sides and little metal details at the hips. Barely there, and very much the main event.

“Nobody is looking at those creams”

The reaction was instant. Fans compared her to a “majestic fairy”, while one follower commented: “Green and nature suits you so much J.” Over on X, accounts went into meltdown with posts like “HOLYYYY LORD” and “JENNIE FROM BLACKPINK… OMG,” Koreaboo reports. The best line of the lot? “im sorry jennie but nobody is looking at those creams.”

Jennie was named a global ambassador for Vaseline’s body care collection in June, so technically this is a work trip. Tough job.

Not here for the modesty police

K-pop idols wearing bikinis in public still regularly sparks debate thanks to South Korea’s more traditional standards, HELLO! notes. Jennie clearly doesn’t care. She even collaborated on her own swimwear line with California label Frankies Bikinis earlier this year.

She’s opened up before about putting a bigger focus on her health after battling injuries and burnout during BLACKPINK’s touring years, telling Dua Lipa: “I’ve learned to take care of my body.” Babe, it shows.

Scoop’s verdict? A string bikini, a secret garden and a tub of petroleum jelly. Vaseline wanted attention, and Jennie delivered. Nobody’s healing after seeing this one.
