Christina Aguilera Goes Creepy Carnival in a Striped Corset and Micro Shorts at Xtinaween
Xtina turned her Beverly Hills Halloween party into a 1930s haunted circus, and she was the sauciest act in the tent, with Chappell Roan and Carmen Electra in tow.
Roll up, roll up. Christina Aguilera has turned Halloween into a haunted circus, and she cast herself as the main attraction.
The pop icon threw her annual Xtinaween bash at a private home in Beverly Hills on Saturday, October 31, with the theme “Creepy Carnival: After Dark”. Think an eerie 1930s fairground with a haunted maze, carnival games, tarot readings and food trucks. And in the middle of it all, Xtina, dressed as the spookiest, saucy circus mistress you have ever seen.
Corset, micro shorts, no regrets
Styled by Chris Horan, she squeezed into a red-and-white striped corset top with tiny micro shorts, a frilled collar and over-the-knee red and white stockings. Her long blonde curls were tied with dark red ribbons, and her face was painted with an eerie white heart outlined in pearls. Dirrty, but make it clown.
It is a big swing from last year’s “Shipwreck-Tina”, which came with a gaping black corset and a tattered skirt, and the orange spider-web slip dress from the year before. Xtina does not do the same trick twice.
The guest list was a circus too
Chappell Roan turned up as a creepy porcelain doll, ruffles, painted face and all, and posed arm in arm with the hostess. The pair duetted on “Coffee” at Chappell’s charity show at the Shrine only weeks ago, so the friendship is officially real.
Carmen Electra went full carnival clown in a matching look, and Paris Hilton floated in as a sparkly turquoise fairy with wings. Fans on forums also spotted Dita Von Teese and MGK among the crowd.
Scoop’s verdict? Heidi may own New York’s Halloween, but on the West Coast the ringmaster is Christina. The corset was tight, the shorts were tighter, and the carnival was absolutely worth the ticket.
