Kim Kardashian, 46, Goes Braless in a Plunging Sheer Lace and Croc Corset Gown for All’s Fair Premiere
Kim skipped the bra under a custom Ashi Studio corset that took more than 500 hours to make, and the internet is calling it her boldest press-tour look yet.
Who needs a bra when you’ve got 500 hours of couture holding you in? Kim Kardashian turned the New York premiere of All’s Fair Season 2 into her own personal runway on Monday night, November 2, and she left the underwear at home.
The 46-year-old SKIMS boss went braless under a plunging, sheer, custom Ashi Studio corset gown in a muted pale gray, according to theFashionSpot. The red carpet was held at Highline Studios, People reports.
A corset built like armour
The boned bodice was cut from crocodile-embossed leather, with a sweetheart neckline and rounded underwire cups that framed her décolletage. Lace-up ties trailed down the front, while sheer lace panels along her ribcage softened the whole armour-like effect.
Below that impossibly cinched waist, layers of fringe cascaded diagonally across her hips and down her legs, trailing along the floor beside a pooling lace train. Every step, every swish.
According to Ashi Studio’s official Instagram, the gown took more than 500 hours to create, with artisans working on it in the brand’s Paris ateliers, Harper’s Bazaar reports. The design mixed gray Chantilly lace, suede and crocodile leather, and the suede cords also formed off-the-shoulder sleeves.
Law Roach strikes again
Kim was styled by Law Roach, who finished the look with a thick matching choker cut from the same pale gray croc-embossed material. She wore her black hair in a low, slicked ponytail with two thin face-framing tendrils, plus smoky eyes, fluttering lashes, a dusty-pink flush, a matte nude-pink lip and sparkling diamond studs.
It’s the latest in a run of headline-grabbing outfits on this press tour. Harper’s Bazaar notes she’s already stepped out in a daring cut-out Galia Lahav gown and a vintage beaded Todd Oldham design, and even did a photoshoot wearing Elizabeth Taylor’s emerald-and-diamond Bulgari necklace, the one Richard Burton gave Liz on her 30th birthday.
The girls were all there
Kim later posed with her All’s Fair co-stars, including Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts and Naomi Watts. In the Ryan Murphy legal drama she plays Allura Grant, a role People says is based on her real-life lawyer Laura Wasser, who worked as a writing consultant on the series.
All’s Fair Season 2 returns to Hulu and Disney+ on Wednesday, November 4.
